Support

By including Swiss Institute in your estate plans, you create a lasting legacy that ensures forward-thinking and experimental art continues to flourish for generations to come. As an independent non-profit dedicated to curatorial and educational excellence, SI serves as a vital platform for emerging artists while fostering new perspectives on celebrated work and championing under-recognized voices.

Your planned gift directly supports our commitment to being diverse, equitable, accessible, and environmentally conscious; values that shape everything from our groundbreaking exhibitions to our dynamic public programs and educational initiatives. Since our founding, we've remained free and open to all, using our Swiss context as a starting point for international conversations across visual and performing arts, design, and architecture.

Your legacy gift helps sustain our ethical commitment to supporting artists while inspiring and engaging diverse audiences.

Planned gifts may have distinct tax advantages, and as with all financial decisions, it is recommended that you seek advice from your legal and financial professionals.

Ways to Give:

Bequests

A simple yet powerful way to leave a portion of your estate to SI, supporting our mission. This flexible option allows you to make a transformational gift while maintaining control of your assets during your lifetime.

Retirement Plan Beneficiary Designation

Name SI as a beneficiary of your retirement accounts. This strategy can maximize the impact of your gift while potentially reducing the tax burden on your other beneficiaries.

Life Insurance

Designate SI as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Life insurance gifts can be particularly effective for younger donors or individuals who are considering surrender or cancellation of their policies. We recommend consulting with your insurance advisor to understand how life insurance gifts work and which options might be most beneficial for your situation.

Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Giving

Request that your Donor Advised Fund make multi-year grants to SI. This option provides you to support our programs over time.

Gifts of Appreciated Assets

Donate stocks, bonds, real estate not related to your primary use, artwork, or other assets (subject to review) to SI. These gifts can provide enhanced tax benefits compared to cash donations and help diversify our funding sources.
